More and more Kiwis are reporting to have recently been victims of online crime, according to a survey by the security company Norton. The most common problem was people getting into others’ online accounts without permission.

With this in mind, Wireless Nation has carefully crafted a series of peer-reviewed online safety short courses to give you tools to upskill and protect yourself online – all in jargon-free English that the everyday Kiwi will understand.

Each course takes around 15 minutes to complete and you can do it in your own time. Give it a shot and earn a certificate that you can share with your network, friends, and family!

I am subject to about 3 or 4 of these phishing emails each morning. You get to learn from the email address which ones they are. The course explains and demonstrates the difference between the two types of emails, a picture is worth a thousand words. So, it is simple to read, easy to understand, and highlights the danger of these scams. I rate it highly.
