Rural communities within close 4G capable cell tower range can now enjoy high speed 4G internet connectivity and take advantage of Wireless Nation’s market leading prices.

The government’s Rural Broadband Initiative (RBI) has built or seen upgrades to 138 cell towers in rural areas all over New Zealand, offering many rural residents and businesses access to high download speeds where they can stream Netflix and use multiple devices at once.

With many of these communities having little or no previous internet coverage, this has the potential to transform business activity, offer increased education and lifestyle opportunities and reduce isolation.

Wireless Nation’s technical director, Tom Linn says he is pleased to offer rural communities seeking the advantages of 4G RBI the most affordable plan on the market.

"We know many rural dwellers want to make the most of the government’s rural broadband offering. There are potentially huge benefits for them, their families and their businesses. Wireless Nation is passionate about giving them this opportunity at a good price."

A Wireless Nation self-install 4G RBI 30GB plan costs $69+GST per month; 50GB is $79+GST per month and 80GB is $89+GST per month.- Plans are for 12 months, compared to 24 months under most other RBI contracts.

"These plans are self-install, meaning our customers don’t need to have an installer sent out, saving them valuable time and money."

"It is surprising how many rural areas with reasonably dense populations can benefit from the new 4G RBI towers. Towns like Kumeu, Helensville, Owaka and Waipapa have been denied good coverage until now." adds Mr Linn.

-$199+GST set up fee or $99+GST on a 24 month contract. Offer ends 31st October 2015. Plans also available for 3G self-install coverage areas.
